Overview

Tom worked very closely with the client to fulfil their brief of a light, airy and efficient new family home, with garage and workshop. Planning was secured on the basis of a replacement dwelling, removing a dated inefficient bungalow, with an efficient well insulated 4 bedroom home. A feature staircase provides the focal point on entering the building, with views through to the gardens to the rear. A balcony landing looks down into the vaulted dinging room. An open plan approach connects the ground floor principle functions of kitchen, dining and living rooms. The external appearance is a crisp colour through render, with aluminium frame windows with slate roof. The house sits on an elevated setting with expansive views across the sweeping valley.
